Good article. We also need to remember that the bible says that even the unrighteous will admit they deserve the hell they are to be thrown into. Hard to imagine a justice/truth so profound that no self-denial in evil men will be strong enough to deny the truth.

A big problem with our justice system is our denial of the sovereignty of God and His providential will, and the failure of the civil authority to rightly wield the sword (i.e. inadequate punishments). It based upon the false notion summarized in the Blackstone ratio (i.e. better 10 guilty men go free than 1 innocent man be punished). There are no "innocent men" (all are sinners), and no punishment on earth is befitting our sin. Yes, we may not be guilty of a particular crime. In he said/she said situations, the accuser is to be believed. If it is discovered that they lied, they are to get the same punishment the accused got/would get. How many cops or DA's do you think would ignore evidence of innocence, or frame someone knowing they too will die if it is discovered? Our current justice system does not deter crime because punishments are too soft, and administered too slowly.
